Do you accept NON-working PC Equipment?

Yes, we do.  We ask that there also be a mix of working units to help offset the cost of pickup. Contact us for details.

How do you certify that the data is destroyed?
All storage media follows the NIST 800-88 data security process.  If a drive cannot be verified wiped, it is physically destroyed.  We certify the data security of all storage media we process.
Do you recycle everything you take?
We try to re-purpose and then resell the like-new equipment. Only items that cannot be recovered will be recycled.  This way we can maximize the proceeds donated to Alzheimer’s research.
Do you offer on-site hard drive destruction or erasure?
Yes, we do.  For a nominal fee, we can destroy or erase all storage media before your items leave your care, custody or control.
Is there a fee to recycle?

In most cases, we will take away all the equipment you wish to donate at no cost subject to a quantity minimum (see below).  The only items we charge to recycle are CRT monitors and old TVs. There is a $20.00 fee per CRT or TV for recycling. Contact us with any questions. If you would like us to process your data tapes (LTO, 4MM, etc) please contact us in advance for a destruction quote.

Is there a fee to pick up the items?

Not if you meet the minimums for a free pick up:

South Florida businesses: 5 Desktops or Laptops that are less than 7 years old.
  • If you have other items such as servers, phones, cell phones, tablets, networking gear, and other items – those may also meet the minimums for a free pick up.  Please just contact us for details.
  • We will gladly take other nonfunctional, not complete items, but we ask you to donate the minimum functional items to help offset the pickup
  • Items other than requested minimum donation can be nonworking, but please leave internal components intact: memory, CPU, etc. PCs with parts pulled (excluding hard drives) are excluded from minimum piece count for a free pickup.
If you have less than the minimum or must have an immediate pick up a flat $50 fee will apply.
